One of the favorite charities of Dr. Julia Freitag was the Times Union Holiday Fund. She facilitated legislation that established physician assistant programs in New York State; more specifically, she was instrumental in establishing our Albany-Hudson Valley Program. Contributions by alumni buys modest gifts, like shoes, sweaters or bus passes for the elderly in need.

at the Hun was dedicated 1998 to the memory of Raymond D. Fish Jr., who died in the line of duty as EMS Personnel. He was the son of Arlene Fish, Administrative Assistant to the original PA Program.
